The Scottish American Society of Dunedin is one of the City’s oldest 501c3 organizations. We are dedicated to preserving Dunedin’s Scottish Heritage and sustaining the Scottish Arts within the Community.
Based in the newly designated historic landmark in Dunedin, the Scottish Cultural Center at 917 Louden Avenue, Dunedin, the SAS provides grants to students who are enrolled in the various Scottish programs within Dunedin.
We need to keep the Scottish Culture going in Dunedin as an integral part of Dunedin’s identity. With participants in the program visiting many cities throughout the USA, Canada and Scotland, it brings attention to this delightful City and draws visitors from all over! You will be helping this program by donating to the Scottish American Society.

The Scottish American Society also produces the Haggis Celtic Concert series. These monthly concerts which started in September 2018 are open to the public, and have brought some of the best traditional and modern Celtic Music performers, currently traveling the USA, to Dunedin.
